After years of creating custom gifts for friends and family, Grits and Glitter Crafts, LLC was founded in 2018 by Lakea Chatmon Daniel, a product of two HBCUs (Howard University And Albany State University). The company has come a long way from the humble beginnings of hand-painted gifts. When Lakea first started out, her passion for creating personalized gifts with a more personal touch than the typical big box stores drove her to start her own business.
